USY (Grades 7 - 12)

USY (United Synagogue Youth) is an International, Conservative Jewish youth group for 7th-12th grade teens. Our chapter of Beth El USY is a closely knit group of dynamic kids that participate in twice monthly Lounge Nights, Regional Kinnusim, as well as monthly weekend programming. USY strives to provide participants with a strong Jewish identity as well as a social network of Jewish friends. USY also offers summer trips to Israel, trips around the country with USY on Wheels, and many other summer programs. We hope that you will give USY a try by stopping by one of our Lounge Nights.

September 5th @7:30am-midnight

USY goes to Disneyland!- join Mickey, Minnie, and all your USY friends for a day at the Happiest Place on Earth! Be sure to become a member of USY because this is a MEMBERS ONLY event. RSVP by August 20th to reserve your spot on the bus

September 9th, 10th, and 18th

Youth High Holiday Services- Teen Services in the Children's Shul 10:45am-12pm all three days of the High Holidays (1st and 2nd day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur).

September 21st @6:30pm-

USY Decorates the Sukkah! Join us as we have a delicious dinner and decorate Beth El's Sukkah on the Plaza

September 25th @7:30-11:00pm-

USY Shakin' It in the Sukkah Dance- Join all your friends for back to school dance for teens from all over San Diego.
