celebrating SUKKOT & SIMHAT TORAH

September 21 thru 29, 2021 (Erev Sukkot September 20)
Sukkot is a time of thanksgiving and hospitality when we celebrate the natural bounties of our world and all that sustains our lives. Immersed in the joys of community, environmental awareness and gratitude to God, we also demonstrate sensitivity to others and their needs for shelter and well-being. These ideas are all the more compelling during this time of continuing pandemic and disruption.

SUKKOT WANDERING & WONDERING

SUKKOT WANDERING & WONDERING
Sunday, September 26 | 10:30am-noon
Beth El Sukkah & outdoor areas
RSVP here

Join us as we wander through Jewish history. In small groups of families, friends, and VTS students we'll meet personalities from the past whose ideas and achievements remain important to our Jewish lives today. We'll wonder who they are what they did as we meet and interact with them. We'll also spend time in our Beth El Sukkah enjoying the rituals and beauty of Sukkot, and participating in holiday activities. In the spirit of Ushpizin, Sukkot hospitality, this will be a fun holiday experience for everyone.
(VTS students will participate class by class during regular VTS hours. Parents are invited to join their students!).
