More screens?
We understand that there is legitimate concern about screen time for very young children, but here’s the difference: YOU! The active participation of the parent or caregiver is key. This is a very different experience for the child than staring at a screen and passively receiving information or entertainment. Your teacher will be on the screen, but it is truly the interaction of YOU with the child that is going to continue their music development! We don't expect your child to sit still or "pay attention" to what's on the screen. If they wander off or go off screen, that is ok! If the adults keep making music with the teacher on the screen, and have a good time, your child will soak in the experience in their own way, in their own time, and show you later what they have been taking in. I'll be giving you lots of fun activities, ideas, and songs to inspire musical play at home all day long.
