Aimee Ginsburg Bikel | The City of Light
In commemoration of Kristallnacht, Aimee Ginsburg Bikel will share Theodore Bikel’s Hanukkah story, “The City of Light.” The story follows a young Jewish boy strolling through Vienna witnessing acts of anti- Semitism during Hanukkah. Then he has a dream and awakens to a different recognition about Jewish life and the meaning of light. Children ages 10 and older, and all adults, will be touched by this special presentation. Aimee Ginsburg Bikel is an American-Israeli writer and journalist, a veteran of the IDF, and a graduate of the Hebrew University. Her late husband, Theodore Bikel, was an admired actor and musician.
