What is Kadima?

Kadima, meaning "forward" or "let's go" in Hebrew, is a youth group for children in grades K-6. This group meets during the school year as a way to develop strong Jewish friendships and connections to the Jewish community. Through chapter and regional events, Kadimaniks become aware of a larger Jewish world while learning how to become a part of it.

We create experiences for our Kadimaniks with some programs tailored for select age groups and other programs inclusive of all age ranges. While our older Kadimaniks may attend Kadima Kinnus at Camp Ramah or participate in a Sukkot Sleepover, or a day at Belmont Park, or Kanvas & Kookies (painting and cookie decorating), our younger ones may participate in Hamentashen making & gaga, craft activities or watching a movie with friends. Shared activities may include on and off site activities like Jewish cultural events, Snow Day, bowling and more.

Becoming a member of Kadima includes discounts to events and the opportunity for Kadimaniks to hang out with Jewish friends their age in a safe, social, and educational Jewish environment. We hope you give Kadima a try!
