Shalom Squad
Join the Shalom Squad, Congregation Beth El’s dedicated volunteer team focused on creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. As the Welcoming & Campus Safety Team, the Shalom Squad will be vital in fostering connection, hospitality, and security at CBE.
The Shalom Squad is intended to collaborate with our security team and provide warmth and hospitality, ensuring that CBE feels like home. Whether you are greeting guests, guiding attendees, or supporting our High Holy Days, your contributions will make a meaningful difference.

Why Join the Shalom Squad?
-
Be part of our mission to create a warm, safe, and connected community.
-
Work alongside our security team to help maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all.
-
Opportunities to volunteer are flexible—whether you can assist at one service per month, help during the High Holy Days, or contribute more regularly, there’s a place for you!
-
Build meaningful relationships with fellow members while giving back to Beth El.
