Sukkot is a time of thanksgiving and hospitality when we celebrate the natural bounties of our world and all that sustains our lives. Immersed in the joys of community, environmental awareness and gratitude to God, we also demonstrate sensitivity to others and their needs for shelter and well-being.
Join with our Congregation Beth El community in the joy of celebrating Sukkot at Festival Services, communal meals, and holiday programs.
Sukkot Programming
Sukkot Shabbat Dinner
This Shabbat of Sukkot, join us for a spirited communal dinner in the Sukkah following our Erev Shabbat and Sukkot service.

Sukkot Festival Morning Services

Festival Morning Services touch our imaginations as we gather to share insights, teachings, and brief discussions along with our recitation and festival prayer. On Saturday, we join in a celebratory holiday luncheon afterwards (see details below). On Sunday, we’ll wave Lulav and Etrog and enjoy holiday time together.
Following morning services, join us for a festive Shabbat lunch in the Sukkah. Surrounded by the holiday’s beauty, we’ll share food, friendship, and celebration in a setting that reminds us of the joy of community and the blessings of Sukkot.

The Sukkot Harvest Lab transforms our sukkah into an interactive food experience inspired by the flavors of the harvest and the Seven Species of Israel. Come taste, mix, create and connect. For adults in their 20s & 30s.

Beth El NEXT is programming for adults in their 50's, 60's, and 70's
Join us for a hands-on cooking class inspired by the flavors of Fall and the harvest season. Afterward we'll gather in the Sukkah to enjoy what we’ve made, raise a glass, and celebrate Sukkot together.

As the festival of Sukkot draws to a close, we gather for services that mark these sacred days with prayer, song, and joy. Together we celebrate the blessings of Torah, community, and tradition that sustain us throughout the year.
Shemini Atzeret Services & Yizkor Luncheon

Shemini Atzeret concludes our Sukkot holiday with a Festival Morning Service when we mark the Fall season and remember our loved ones during Yizkor Memorial Prayers. We enjoy a holiday meal together after services.
SIMHAT TORAH CELEBRATION| October 3
Erev Simhat Torah
We rejoice and dance with our children in the reading of Torah. Choose from a family experience or an adult Torah study to begin our program. Then we all join together for a Festival dinner and Torah celebration, featuring CBE's Vav band with Craig Parks on guitar.

Our families and young children celebrate Torah with songs, Torah stories, and family fun. All ages welcome!
5:30 PM | Torah Study with Rabbi Shulman
Explore the meaning and messages of Simhat Torah through study and conversation with Rabbi Shulman.
6:15 PM |Festival Seuda Shlishit Dinner
Everyone is welcome to enjoy holiday dinner and ice cream. Please RSVP below so we can plan our holiday dinner accordingly.
7:00 PM|Simhat Torah Service & Hakafot
Dancing with the Torahs, Torah Parades, Torah Tour, & Torah Reading for all ages.
8:00 PM|Simhat Torah Oneg
The celebration continues with schmoozing and more dessert. Join us outside in the Sukkah on the Turk Family Plaza for pies, cider, and hot chocolate.

Get ready for a night of fun, friends, and Jewish adventure! The Simhat Slumber Party is an evening packed with games, challenges, snacks, and plenty of surprises around the synagogue. Come hang out, make memories, and celebrate Simhat Torah in a whole new way!
You won’t want to miss this all-ages youth overnight!
In Jewish lore, at age 70, we reflect on where we’ve been and look ahead to determine what matters most. Our sages build on this insight and teach, “There are seventy faces to Torah. - Shiv’im Panim LaTorah". Each 'face' reveals a new layer, a new voice, a new way of seeing and living our tradition.
In the new Jewish year 5787, Congregation Beth El turns 70! To honor this milestone, we hope to fulfill our tradition's suggestion. We’ll reflect on where we’ve been and look ahead to our future.
