Simhat Torah | A Time to Mourn and a Time to Dance
Join us on Thursday evening and Friday morning as we review the past year, hope for the new year, and dance again in the light of Torah and our affirmation of Jewish life!
The October 7, 2023 attack against Israel took place on Simhat Torah, the final holiday of our fall cycle. A holiday of joy and dancing became a day of tears and mourning. Now, a year later, an emotional year of war and angst, we come again to Simhat Torah. This year, a holiday during which we renew, reflect, and once again rejoice.
